HEALTHeWV has recently released new software version 6.2. One of the important features of this version is "Dental Exam Module". Now the primary care physicians in rural areas can conduct a preliminary dental exam and document the results. “Most digestive and metabolic diseases start with poor oral hygiene and West Virginia unfortunately ranks high in poor oral health among many states. We hope the addition of Dental Exam Module to HEALTHeWV will help to improve oral health of our population,” said Dr. Mazharullah Shaik, Executive Director of Health Technology Programs.
